I bought some T-Bills expiring 07/25/2024 today to replace T-Bills expiring today. I felt lucky to get 5.385% yield.

Took IRA gains in IMPPP as its short term bull run seems to be tiring. Bought SPE and CEFS. One of my largest positions, ET just announced an increase to its distributions; added a few more shares in taxable account.

M* shows May Div same as Feb div for ET This stock is having a great run and you have been right adding. One of my misses!

MJ was down 13.25% at May 1 close. It always amazes me, when a stock goes up 25% in one day, who buys at 3:59 PM?

uncleharley , Do you have a read on PFE, specifically where do you see the next solid resistance and support? Would also appreciate your read on PDBA. Thank you.

uncleharley , Do you have a read on PFE, specifically where do you see the next solid resistance and support? Would also appreciate your read on PDBA. Thank you. PFE appears to have found support at 25.25. and is now working its way thru a band of resistance. A break above 28.5 would be bullish. If fundamentals are attractive it should be a buy after 28.5. PDBA has found support at 33.75. If the support holds, I will hold my position. If it breaks below, I will probably sell with the intention of buying it back at a lower price at a later date.

MJ was down 13.25% at May 1 close. MJ up 1% today. This volatility is what should make it a great trading vehicle for richardsok consideration! I own some because if MJ , about $4/share now, ever gets back to it's old high of about $36/share it will be a nice gain to give to grandkids for their college graduations. R48

Thanks, UH. Will keep my eyes peeled for your actions on PDBA. I shall keep the levels for PFE in mind. I tend to have low tolerance for losses and for giving up profits in my Roth, resulting in selling too soon and underperformance.

What is the source of support for PDBA at 33.75? I'm not recognising anything in the chart, previous highs, lows, gaps, etc. I do see a little candle cluster March 18-20, but it isn't telling me anything that registers. Not saying you're wrong. I'd like to know what I'm missing.

R48 It is generally too volatile for me. I had a nice gain a little while back, sold it (after giving back half my upside) and didn't return. The tech signals tend to pop up suddenly and quickly reverse -- anathema to a deep-volatility trader like myself..... even if it means I missed R48's new big leap. (Congrats again.) My interest in MJ is now limited to a little Orlando company that makes the most MARVELOUS gummies. I don't like smoking b/c I'd never again put any kind of smoke in my lungs and experience taught me the "weed high" hits my brain like a hammer .... a most unpleasant sensation. But with these gummies at a mere 100mg THC, accompanied by a shot of rum or scotch , a gentle little buzz tiptoes up on you and hangs around for a couple of hours. Mellowwwwwwwww for a saturday night.....but not when there's anything I need to do. Their brownies are good too and last for weeks in the frig. Going decadent in my old age. Wife & daughter don't know. We'll keep it that way. I was going to post this info up on the "Reveals" thread, but had second thoughts. Since we're already on the topic, I figure it might be all right here. OK, you guys Hum along with me: "HEY Mister Tambourine man, play a SONG for me....."

Catching up on trades.
Caught market bullish signal this morning. Returned to SPE and bought opening position in GEV.
Yesterday added to XFLT & RITM (already own the preferred) and Wednesday morning bought a toehold in NLR and SGML. Future need for new sources of energy caused, in part, by AI development seems to me inarguable.
I'm reading reports of a nat gas glut along with peak crude production in Permian Basin. (Wells are becoming ever more "gassy" as I understand.) Not sure how or if to play it.
My AY just did a pogo-stick pop. So there, R48.

Placed an order to buy the next 6M T-bill with expected yield of 5.365%. The auction closes on Monday.
This is 3/4 of the Funds from a T-bill that matured this week. The rest will sit in FMPXX for the time being to use for upcoming expenses. I might also add to RPHIX - a perennially strong alternative to cash or T-bills. (If only the ER weren’t so high…)

I kind of meant to post 10.0mg. Tiny miss. Hardly worth the mention. What's one little decimal among pals?

It bounced back 2% yesterday. What is more remarkable is in the previous 6 sessions it dropped more than 10% (including at least four gap downs, though for thinly traded stuff, gaps may not hold as much signal), and UH held through that drop calmly because he knows what he is doing and has a plan. I on the other hand would have dumped it when it dropped 5% or would have been miserable holding it and more miserable when it bounced back and ran away from me because I did not add more. I was busy yesterday and did not get to the computer until a few minutes before the Close and ended up buying my first small, symbolic amount on market order. This thing has such a wide bid-ask spread and thin trading volume (10K) that any emotional actions will cost you. Grateful to UH for all the lessons / teachings.

Bought the 6M T-bill that closed today. Looks like the annualized yield will be 5.351754%.
