This is a place to share investment knowledge and experience.
All views and opinions and all forms of thoughtful expression are welcome here.
Cerebral, mature discussion is encouraged, but so is humor and fun. A discussion forum should not be cold and dry; it should be a vibrant community where people engage one another as friends. Think of this as a virtual coffee shop where people come to relax while they discuss and debate how to invest.
The investment landscape has never looked more unfamiliar as we approach the end of 2020. Charts and metrics are often unrecognizable and may be sending signals we do not understand. Sharing ideas and collaborating to build upon joint experiences is critical; teamwork has probably never been more valuable than now. Let's collaborate!
Personal attacks, snipes and trolling are antithetical to the aims outlined above. These will not be tolerated.
This is not a place for off-topic* political discussion. There are numerous other venues for that. Experience has shown that such discussions lead to unproductive, heated arguments that degrade the forum. Kindly take it somewhere else.
"Share and Enjoy!" (Motto of the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation) ~ Douglas Adams, "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"
*To clarify: this does not mean "no politics". Politics relevant to an investing issue is fine. However, please refrain from standalone, off-topic politics, or unnecessary heat when politics is relevant. Everyone knows where that goes ... and there are plenty of other web sites for political rants and vents.
