Thought I'd share my personnel portfolio review.
Although I've kept track of my portfolio for over 10 years now,
it has only been since 7/23/2021 that I've regularly included inheritance.
So, that's as far back as this review goes.
All time high was 105% on November 19, 2021.
….Those were the days, but in hindsight, how short sited my thinking was!
Low point of 87% was reached on October 14, 2022.
Another moment for reflection.
Currently at 102.76% and I'm feeling pretty good!
Historically, equity made up the majority of both mine and my Mom's portfolios.
I did move to predominately cash (MM & Treasuries) at one point,
but have more recently been easing into bonds; primarily RCTIX.
I'll wait for Equity purchases until the price is right.
That could be about 6 months after the first rate cut, but who really knows.
Meanwhile, I will practice patience.
Relative weekly performance since 7/23/2021 calibrated to 100% on December 31, 2023:
Current Relative Portfolio:
Snapshot from way back when of only my portfolio:
I'm not going to bother including my Mom's Port from way back, but it
was predominately stocks (SPGI, DE and mutual funds) without
any bonds or significant cash equivalents (Thank-you Dad).
