FYI - I believe FMIL has been brought up before (the etf version of New Millennium Fund). It has been wrapped into FFLC (Fidelity Fundamental Large Cap Core ETF). Several other changes: link

Fido changed the managers (FMILX/FMIL-Daniel C Sherwood; FFLC-Timothy Gannon/Camille Carlstrom/Michael Kim) as well as the strategy. It is no longer an ETF cousin of FMILX. (Same for Fidelity Growth Opps FGRO -> FFLG.) Fido put an announcement on their website in February: "This ETF changed its name, investment process, investment policies and portfolio managers on February 26, 2024. Please read the Q&A for more information." www.fidelity.com/bin-public/060_www_fidelity_com/documents/mutual-funds/fundamental-etf-changes-faqs.pdfOdd that Fido would essentially kill off an active ETF (two, actually) just when they’re becoming all the rage.

Fido, ETFdb & M* all describe FFLC as an active ETF (transparent). Fido describes this as streamlining of its active ETFs.
