M* Instant X-ray is gone - it was free & could take inputs as $ or % but M* Premium was needed to save. There is X-ray feature within the old M* Portfolio & new M* Investor. You need to have the portfolio(s) entered.
M* Compare is also gone.
I have an inquiry pending on the status of M* Portfolio that M* promised to keep at least through 2023.

i have found that, for me, stockcharts no longer works with firefox, forcing me to use microsoft edge, which i don't want to do. the chart still shows up but i can't use the inspect feature or put on any of the overlays.

I just tested StockCharts OLD & NEW on Firefox. Within the limitations described, Overlays & Indicators work fine on Firefox, just as on Chrome. Inspect feature works too. Is your Firefox updated? May be trash all old StockCharts cookies to start fresh.

yogibearbull , Do you use StockRover and is premium subscription worth getting? For portfolio functions, SR Premium is needed. If just use SR for quotes & charts, free SR-Basic is fine. I got SR-Premium some time ago when there was risk that M* Portfolio may go away, and new M* Investor was just terrible. But now, free M* Portfolio will be available for longer (at least through 2024), new M* Investors has been improved (but needs subscription). So, I am running all 3 now - at least learned a lot about them. I will decide soon as it isn't worth having 2 subscriptions (SR-Premium, M* Investor) for portfolio functions.

thanks so much for that. somehow sometime somewhere i'd added a javascript-disabler firefox extension and last month made stockcharts the only site it disabled. must have done that in my sleep. anyway, changed its name in the settings and bingo bango everything is back to normal. thanks again for helping me straighten things out!

Yogi, I looked up Stock Rover, and they have three different plans. “Essentials” for $79.99/ year, “Premium” for $179.99/ year and “Premium Plus” for $279.99/ year. Which one would you recommend to eventaully replace Morningstar Investor. I have subscribed for a little over a year, and am VERY frustrated with the glitches in Morningstar, inability to easily change it around to show data I’m interested in, etc., etc. Thanks in advance! Win

win1177, mine is SR-Premium at middle rate. When I joined, there was a promo to join & then it auto-renewed, so I am not sure what I paid, but that version has $179.99 in your post. Be aware that SR doesn't auto-reinvest dividends on a click and those must be done manually (a pain) or via update from brokerage connection (I don't use that). Similar for M* Investor. That is why I am hanging on to the old M* Portfolio until it dies.
