I plan to sell my Foreign Large Growth fund next year. It will be replaced with either an EM equity fund, Foreign Small/Mid Value fund, or Foreign Small/Mid Blend fund. I've evaluated many mutual funds in these three categories. The following funds are currently being considered.
Seafarer Overseas Value Institutional (SIVLX) GQG Partners Emerging Markets Equity Inv (GQGPX) Artisan International Explorer Advisor (ARDBX) Fidelity International Small Cap (FISMX)
I welcome any input or new fund suggestions. Thanks!

I own FISMX (in an IRA); recently added to it. Its record speaks for itself. In theory foreign SC should have the lowest correlation to US Alva like the Fangs and the Mag7s (but nowadays who knows).
SIVLX looks good, though I went with FEDDX. Surprisingly few EMV funds around. As you probably know, this sector is GMO’s favorite in the 7-year forecast.

I've looked at FISMX previously and liked what I saw. Sam Chamovitz was the sole manager of FISMX from 03/01/2014 through 11/16/2021*. David Jenkins became a fund comanager on 11/16/2021 and is now the only named manager. What do you think of the fund's prospects with Mr. Jenkins at the helm?
* Mr. Chamovitz was tapped to manage Fidelity Low-Priced Stock Fund on 04/21/2017 alongside Joel Tillinghast and two other managers. Tillignhgast has managed FLPSX since 12/27/1989 and is retiring from fund management at year-end but he will remain at Fidelity as an advisor/mentor.

You got a suggestion for GPGOX on Mutual Fund Observer, but that is a Global small growth fund. I own it almost since inception. There are a very few choices for Foreign Small/Mid value, your horizon will increase since you are also considering Mid/Small blend too. I do not have access to Fidelity, so I never considered them for investing, but Change said that they seem to be fine funds. I am using OAKEX, which Morningstar says that their confidence increased for it now, though has very inconsistent performance over a long period.
If you are open for ETFs, your choice will increase. I am looking for an equivalent of Avanti's AVUV in the foreign smallcap value space. They have one, but so far it seems to be a OK one.
Pzena folks seems to be good in small and value area.
I am using Avanti's EM value ETF AVES along with ARTYX which I own. ARTYX is like a global growth fund with about 40% in US even though it is an EM fund. Avantis recently started an EM Smallcap ETF too.

roi2020 “What do you think of the fund's prospects with Mr. Jenkins at the helm?” Your guess is as good as mine, but it’s in an IRA where it can be sold without tax consequences, if needed. Edit: Jenkins managed FJSCX from 2014-2022; see www.morningstar.com/funds/xnas/fjscx/peopleDuring this period the fund did well, although its "rank in category" was volatile (either top decile/quartile or bottom half). In 2022 and 2023 (YTD), FISMX percentile in category has been 11 / 10 - obviously excellent. I don't see an issue.
