Arguably this thread belongs in the Tips and Toolbox Board, but I realize that a lot of I&D investors like to "hang out" on the I&D Board (well, it used to be that way at M*), so I'm happy to go with your suggestion. |

Is unsecured and unsafe the same for websites? I thought unsecured means the site owner themselves is not malicious; whereas, unsafe could mean site owner could be malicious. No? Just checking. I think graust said that site is unsecured. |

I think graust said that site is unsecured. A website can use either the secure HTTPS or insecure HTTP protocols. When connecting to a website which uses HTTP, your browser displays a "Not Secure" warning message.

I generally agree with your statement but there may be exceptions.
Malicious websites can be secured or unsecured sites.
