As for Treasuries, the CME Treasury futures are all up in prices, so the rates are down. The CNBC has stale data from Friday.
Tomorrow is a federal holiday, so the bond market will be closed. Typical 3m, 6m Monday Auctions will be on Tuesday.

Reactions in Asian and European markets are more muted than in the US market - and even that isn't huge. I think this is based on the assumption that this may be a local issue for Israel, Gaza and Hamas (with lots of "experts" having opinions), and may not spread beyond that.

yogibearbull, Is only Treasury or the entire bond market closed today? Yahoo quotes is updating interest rates and all from 5 yr to 30 yr rates are slightly higher but CNBC rates still showing Friday activity. Could you pl share status? Of course, all fixed income ETFs, including Treasury ETFs, like TLT, are trading.

Bond market is officially closed.
But bond futures are trading. So, you have live quotes for 3m-IRX, 5y-FVX, 10y-TNX, 30y-TYX at Yahoo Finance and StockCharts (note that scale is 10x). CNBC data seems stale - from Friday.
Also trading are bond ETFs. And bond mutual funds will also have 4pm Eastern quote refresh - based on derived prices (as allowed by the SEC).

TD Ameritrade offers only Schwab (and no other) Money Market funds, and today TD is not allowing one to place any buy or sell trades for any of those Money Market funds. The same trades are not prevented at Schwab. TD's excuse is that those MM do not trade on Columbus Day and Schwab did not tell them to allow trades today. Go figure.
If the TD account does not have margin privileges and does not have non-interest bearing cash, the account can not make new investments today. If you have margin privilege, then can buy on margin.

Only one day, but the US markets are treating the Israeli situation as Israel's internal matter.
All equity sectors are in green as of now. MBLY (Mobile Eye Global) is off only 4% on the day, recovered from 9% down on the day.

I will repeat what I have said many times. Many pundits love to comment daily and explain why stocks have done this or that. The reality is, high correlation is far from most indicators/analysis.

The explanation for market movements is "new news." The news tonight, tomorrow, next week, etc., will be random, as will the market's movements. Even if you could guess future news stories, good luck predicting how market participants will respond to the news.

I will repeat what I have said many times. Many pundits love to comment daily and explain why stocks have done this or that. The reality is, high correlation is far from most indicators/analysis. Did you mean to post in this thread? If so, what Pundits and punditry you are referring to - none were mentioned in this thread. What in this thread got you all wound up? So far, all I see in this thread is market data. Also, please do not repeat the same things many times - it crowds out useful discussions and discourages lurkers from participating in this forum. If you share something unique a few times, it could be wisdom. If you share the same thing many times, it is inflationary.

I and every one that liked yogibearbull posts and information in this and every other thread in this forum find such posts / information very useful. No need for the mockery and mocking tone. I expect better from a new member of the forum (16th post). Please do not troll or trash discussions if you have nothing to offer.
