Just a reminder that you have one year now to plan for the Total Solar Eclipse on 08Apr2024 and especially its Totality Path. Many details about this are at www.greatamericaneclipse.com/ . Note that this one enters thru Texas, exits thru Maine. I drove to northern Oregon in Aug 2017 to experience the prior one (which entered thru Oregon, exited thru South Carolina) and now can only very strongly suggest that Totality is not to be missed if possible. Several tradeoffs to consider …. how far to travel to maximize the chance of a clear sky/view, and that lodging could be costly if needed as this event draws massive crowds. --- Frank

Is there another site that shows the global trajectory of the totality?

A Google-search on something like solar eclipse europe provides multiple info-hits on total and partial solar eclipses for that area for some years. In particular, see www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/list.html for a graphical display what's happening worldwide during the next ten years. --- Frank

Never got to see a total. Did catch the near total in NY in 1960, though. Followed by Mantle-Maris in 1961. A nice stretch in NY!

Speaking of clouds...
Weatherstreet.com has a nice 7 day cloud forecast.
The eclipse will be immediately over my home in NY, but I will be ready to start driving along the path towards Texas if need be.

Is there another site that shows the global trajectory of the totality? There is a map of the entire path in the link that the op shared. 2024 starts in pacific ocean and ends in the Atlantic. Does not make it to Europe.

Thanks for the tip @fpajerski. Reserved a hotel near Syracuse, NY and most places are showing up as sold out already. I wonder if it is real or just some hotel not taking bookings a year in advance.

We have regional weather in Central New York. Along the shoreline of Lake Ontario, there are less clouds. Also, center of path looks to be nearer to Watertown.

Fearchar , thanks. We may drive a bit north then. My guess is that there is less than a 50%-chance of clear skies, does that sounds right? If so, I probably do not want to waste a lot of time on driving back and forth since I have to return to the coast the same day. Being closer to the center just makes the full eclipse a tiny bit longer and the halo/corona more symmetric.
