Has anyone tried to see if Capecod wants to come join this group? I'm getting along quite well with Capecod on the Fido forum! R48

Are the Fido boards something at Fidelity or FIDO-related on another forum?

Are the Fido boards something at Fidelity or FIDO-related on another forum? I think you have to have a brokerage account at Fidelity to post there.

Fidelity has its Fidelity Investor Community. Membership is by invitation only to people with Fidelity accounts and it’s heavily moderated. Best way is to send a message from Fido system indicating interest and requesting membership and one may get invitation; one cannot just subscribe/register. It’s touted as a benefit to its larger investors. This probably requires quite a bit of resources ($s, staff) from Fidelity. My experience there is that posts are related to Fidelity as well as non-Fidelity topics, and food fights aren't allowed. Some criticism of Fidelity itself is allowed - e.g. posters aren't happy with the recent Fidelity push into cryptos within 401k/403b. I see many here there too - Albie, Anitya, Capital, Cheris1, FD, Liftlock, R48, RM, UH, etc (I am sure I missed some, and some may have different usernames there, e.g. Chang has noted he is there but I don't know his username there). Among the major brokerage and fund families, it’s the only one I am aware of.

I never got invited - I just found a link to the Investor community at the bottom of the summary page a few years back.

I have stopped posting at Fido Inv Community (EIC). I may now check it only when I log into my Fido a/c.

I left FIDO Community a year ago due to one individual. If that individual shows up here I am gone.

I left FIDO Community a year ago due to one individual. If that individual shows up here I am gone. I understand that the FIC is fairly heavily moderated. This site (BB) is fairly lightly moderated. I think everyone appreciates that this is a place for discussions and debates that are cerebral yet fun, constructive, and friendly. The "Block" feature is the best first defense against people you don't want to see. If things get out of hand, the situation will be dealt with in the best interests of safeguarding an open, friendly climate.

For incomprehensible reasons, Fidelity does not seem to be able to implement Block / Ignore feature. I go there rarely. It used to be a good forum. I use the ignore / block feature here quite liberally, mostly to allow me to speed read the forum. Welcome & Good luck!
