I found none of it emotional or threatening. Most of it I knew before, and the rest was unsurprising, because I have actually met people. And I have good inkling how their minds work and how beliefs become imbedded in our narratives and cultures. Often because they are welcome and soothing. Sometimes because they suit an agenda.
My only real "core belief" is that everything is complicated and subject to change. That doesn't bother me.
Sadly, those who might benefit most from reading/understanding that posting, are the least likely to read or understand it.

I am sure many could benefit from reading this, myself included. My problem is reading something that is 80% drama and 20% content. I am always turned off by drama because it clouds the truth and I don't need to be reminded to be open minded ten times.
I had read previously that Washington's teeth were not wood. I think it was a historic novel.
Sorry for the rant.

And the older I get, the worse it becomes - habit, stubbornness and ego are constantly rearing their ugly heads.
