There is a resistance for CSWC. I am not surprised based on my experience with it. Its EPS in the fourth quarter was only $0.09 against a current distribution of $0.62, way higher. It was all speculation when CSWC raised its distribution. There is not much reduction in the leverage also. The next stop is probably $17/sh.

The weekly chart indicates that it has had a rough week but there is no indication that it should drop below 18. If it does I will be reviewing it for a sell. For now I am going to hold my position.

Current computer data shows negative growth currently and could drop as low as 16.30 with a continual $2.00 yearly dividend. Appears, looking at their data (overpriced currently) that the dividend was being increased when their MktPrc was at 23.05 last March (2022). The company appears to be playing with their different dividend amounts to attract investors.... My 2cents worth.... Live ong and Prosper....

Not sure some of you all understand BDCs. Suggest you do some reading maybe on SA on various BDCs and get hold of reports from KBW or WF. Just search for article on SA and then read the comments by various people. CSWC, HTGC, ARCC, RWAY, BBDC, TSLX to name a few of the better managed BDCs out there.
