Individuals have until Dec 31 (or whatever last trading day of year) to sell losers and capture tax loss harvesting.
For Fund manager and institutional fund manage that date is much earlier more likely October because they have to send potential distribution before year end and hence that is basis of year end rally (possibly wait 31 days to avoid wash rule if purchasing same or similar holdings).
Q. Does anyone know what is the deadline for fund managers for selling in Calendar year to get tax benefits or there is No Specific date as it is broad period like Oct till mid Nov etc something like that?

Friday, 12/30/22 is the last day for TLH in 2022 for EVERYBODY.
While most funds finish their TLH by October (law just allows that but doesn't require that), some funds wait until the last day and will declare their 2022 CG distributions in early 2023.
