Financials are the biggest chunk of the portfolio. A talking head on Bloomberg recently recommended Qatar, though not this specific ETF. It's up ytd. I don't normally follow ETFs. No minimums with ETFs. Maybe I'll dip a toe in the water... www.wsj.com/market-data/quotes/etf/QAT

Single country ETFs are usually high risk. Think Russian ETFs trading at $0.
Qatar is probably only up because it's largest industry is petrochemicals. Otherwise lots to not recommend (huge amounts of political risks, industry risks, trades at a premium, high expense ratio, high bid-sell amounts)
Just buy VWO and be done!
