PAXS -18.71% PDI -14.61% PDO -26.11% PTY -20.50%
I own the first two in small amounts - not enough to worry about. PDI retains its popularity in a tough market environment.

If you own CEFs you are not in them for TR. it’s strictly a yield thing. If you buy at a 10% yield it is 7.2 years to get all your money back.

PAXS has the inception date of 1/31/22, so it is fair to compare the trio PDI, PDO, PAXS since 2/1/22 (a strange feature of Stockcharts is that to get 1/31/22 chart start, you have to enter the next business/trading day, 2/1/22. PDI is a regular CEF. Both PDO and PAXS have newer term-structures and their discounts (or premiums) would disappear in 12.0-13.5 years. Anyway, I did some tax-swap between PDO and PAXS. LINK
