I finally got around to downloading Brave. Very easy to import history and bookmarks from Chrome.
P.S.: what prompted me to finally get to Brave? I had on two different occasions while using Chrome (and coincidentally while typing a message on Big Bang) received popup alerts (spoofs) saying I have visited a malicious site and must run a scan to eliminate infections from my computer. My Chrome Settings are set to not allow popups but that did not stop the spoofs.
Thanks.

Also, I do not understand your comment - pl elaborate. BTW, I switched to Brave based on your recommendation / comments. thanks.

Just a quick update on my browser / search engine use - When I switched to Brave, I also switched to Duckduckgo. Whenever search results are not robust in Duck, I do the search in Google and I see more robust search results. This happens at least once or twice a day on topics I have some familiarity with. On other topics I would not know if I am missing anything with my search using Duck. I do online research quite a bit. I am trying to figure out if I should still keep Duck as my default Search Engine or just switch back to Google as default. Online Ads do not bother me. I am willing to bear the Ads but tracking is a different matter. Any thoughts? P.S.: I have to read this article over the weekend to see if it would help with Google tracking - www.wired.com/story/google-tracks-you-privacy/

I have found that DDG gives me the results I need 98% of the time.
The other 2% of the time I basically search in DDG with - !g<search term>
That does the job.
