Any of these reopened funds worth putting in the buy list when the time comes?
Grandeur Peak Emerging Markets Opportunities Fund
Grandeur Peak Global Opportunities Fund
Grandeur Peak Global Micro Cap Fund
Grandeur Peak International Opportunities Fund

Grandeur Peak Emerging Markets Opportunities Fund Grandeur Peak Global Opportunities Fund Grandeur Peak Global Micro Cap Fund Grandeur Peak International Opportunities Fund Grandeur Peak International Stalwarts Fund I think one would need a very contrarian investing philosophy to invest in any Grandeur Peak product right now. |

That fund, Contrarian, is closed.
Probably time to see how far it's dropped , since the last time I added to it.

The GP Contrarian fund is open only if you buy it directly from GP, but it appears to be closed to third party intermediaries  . I believe GP stated that they would close the fund around $100MM-$200 MM to new investors according to their 1/31/2020 letter. Excerpt: Of those, Global Contrarian is the 6th listed in our original pipeline. The current plan is to soft close5 Global Contrarian in the $100‐200m range. We did not open it to gather assets, but rather to motivate our team members, to make our other funds better, and to provide a different pole in the water for our clients. Since it is a different pole, it may end up having a little more capacity, but we will err on the safe side in terms of assets. |
