richardsok uncleharley I always value your stock analysis, particularly when I come up empty using Fido’s tools. I am only afraid that I’m way too late on this one. Still, the few analysts that follow it still have a Buy recommendation on this. Any thoughts? TIA.

Too late to buy or too late to sell? The stock price has been consolidating since mid november. Some of that consolidation was on very heavy trading volume. It has not broken out of that consolidation pattern and it is conceivable that it could correct to $42 or so. My thought is that it is too late to sell and too early to buy. I would wait until we see what the move is when it breaks away from the level it is at now. That could be today or this week.

Still, the few analysts that follow it still have a Buy recommendation on this. Any thoughts? TIA. Merrill has a "BUY" on it, but very stale -- published back in April of 2022. The call was good; the stock has been strong, but I'm guessing new money could be late to the party. More up-to-date TipRanks scores a mere 5/10. Finviz doesn't cover it at all. I don't see enough to hazard a guess. Sorry.

Thank you both. I think my best strategy at this point is to exercise patience.

chang, Just for my own edification, why did you think of Safran as a potential buy? Thanks.

chang, Just for my own edification, why did you think of Safran as a potential buy? Thanks. I routinely check about 12-15 foreign funds that I respect, and I saw it pop up on several. Then I read their website and some analyst reports. Not a high divvy payer, but looks like a quality company.

chang, Look at Prysmian (PRY.MI) an Italian electrical power distribution mfr. Recent write-up in Barrons. $11B backlog, PE17, solid EPS and revenue growth, 1.5% div. They compare it to Eaton (ETN) which has a PE31, similar EPS growth and div.
