Add it into the coming big SS increase, cruises are expensive. Last year I spent 15-20% less and this year will be similar. I wouldn’t think this is a good idea unless it’s targeted towards the truly needy, non voters. Processed food is expensive. Fat chance.* , * Deficits don’t matter they can always be negotiated down like other countries do. But when this is all over someday and happy days are here again, watch the inflation or stagflation.

This makes no sense to me. Unless the US government wants to keep inflating every asset class that I know.
According to what I read the elderly in the USA is the richest demographic in the country.
Also the elderly don't spend like the non-elderly.
