Just an observation, covid cases are way up, but the media doesn't capture it all day long...I "wonder" why? FD that’s all there will be after October. Maybe they’re not there yet, hurricanes, Afghanistan etc. Give it a couple months. Of corse by spring it will be a whole lot of mid term elections news, on and on, and on. I expect markets to spin their wheels for the next year or so. Looks like a booster, flu shot, back to a mask and patchy schooling again. How’s that for a bulls**t prognostication. I sound like everyone else. Lol.

I can’t say whether it’s on the “news” or not. I don’t watch it any longer.

Screw the news. I go to John’s Hopkins website to see data.

Since most discussions about COVID are by people without actual data I've been visiting the Indiana Department of Health website. I'm not a big believer in one size fits all solutions. I'm not sure it was necessary for us to shut down our economy because New York City hospitals were filling up. But we did. Some states didn't and they didn't fare any worse than the others. So I think state data is more appropriate for make local decisions.
For example, we have not been hit nearly as hard by the delta variant as other states even though 97% of the tests are positive for it.
Besides, the media wants to sell advertising. They are going to go with the more sensational headlines.
