richardsok, Your: SOME SELECTED RATINGS: ---Upgraded to BUY EFT, better distribution stability RQI, strong valuation ---Maintained at BUY BXMX ETW IGD NFJ FFC FLC AGD GDV CHY ---Downgraded: JRO (to neutral) ---Underperform: HPF FCT ---------- Interesting selections. I continue to follow FCT [was downgraded to my watch list (and sold out for CapGain during the early part of the 2nd Qtr)]. Currently, my analysis data [COB Friday] shows it currently at 2star [SELL IMMEDIATELY], with a 13wk Star Rating at 4.33stars [Sell]. The current Report card rating is 43 with a power rating of 56 [failing]. FCT currently shows a " 182" [SELL IMMEDIAELY when <200] analysis score for last week. Hopefully Merrill Lynch gave a earlier report on FCT's earlier decline.... I [currently] don't follow any of the above CEF's shown by Merrill Lynch. I just ran them in the computer system and they all failed for not meeting my current "dividend" and "CapGain" requirements defined by My yearly Goals and Objectives.... Thanks for the input. Always looking for a good investment for retiree's.... Live Long and Prosper....

I own OPP and definitely not selling. Even if conversion approved, the Prospectus says "the Fund will seek to convert to open end within 12 months". Last I checked in March, OPP had 79% DoubleLine Opportunistic Income Strategy. While not exactly the same Opportunistic Income Strategy that Gundlach invests in, I am told the fund "mirrors" that Strategy which is available to DoubleLine's wealthier accredited clients. I am not sure exactly what "mirror" means. Gundlach himself has most of his money in this Strategy. In recent webcast, he disclosed in the 9 digit figures. Good enough for me. This is one of only 2 ways a retail unaccredited investor can even get a mirror representation, the other being RNDLX/RNSIX but the exposure to Opportunistic Income Strategy drops to 37% in that fund as of last March.

FD1000, Your: (7) Sell RiverNorth/DoubleLine Strategic Opp (OPP), Pioneer High Income (PHT), BNY Mellon High Yield Strat (DHF), MFS Interm High Income (CIF), Invesco High Income II (VLT), BlackRock Limited Duration (BLW), Neuberger Berman High Yield Strat (NHS), Western Asset High Income II (HIX), BlackRock Multi-Sector Income (BIT) Buy Pioneer Diversified High Income (HNW). ---------- Interesting " SELL" selections. I continue to follow OPP [was downgraded to my watch list (and sold out for CapGain during the 2nd Qtr)]. Currently, my analysis data [COB Friday] shows it currently at 5star [NEUTRAL], with a current 13wk Star Rating at 4.50stars [LOWER PART OF NEUTRAL]. The current Report card rating is 45 with a power rating of 60 [failing]. OPP currently shows a " 194" [SELL IMMEDIAELY when <200] analysis score for last week. Seeking Alpha aced this one for a current sell if still in any one's current portfolio [IMHO].... I [currently] don't follow any of the other CEF's shown by Seeking Alpha. I just ran them in the computer system and they all failed for not meeting my [personalized] current "dividend" and "CapGain" requirements defined by my current yearly [computer generated] Goals and Objectives.... Thanks for the input. Always looking for a good investment for any of us retiree's.... One single opinion of the many I am sure.... Live Long and Prosper....
