There seems to be an awful lot of $$ on the sidelines. I can't remember when a BTD wasn't a good decision. Of course just saying that means the day is coming when it won't be. Nonetheless, I'll take dip as an opportunity to add to high conviction holdings...for a while.

The better MktPrc's were yesterday [when some of us were buying the "undervalued one's"]. The better securities to buy have already been bought [with minor exceptions]....
Today, was buying activity for what was left....
Tomorrow, the securities that are not dramatically increaseing in MktPrc, will be considered the "overpriced one's" to a currently overpriced market [IMHO]....

I have been adding to positions as the stocks are "priced right." The problem, of course, is that most of the stocks I want to buy are "overpriced" right now. I've sold partial positions as appropriate. I keep thinking we'll get a real correction, but it hasn't happened yet. Usually, my errors have been jumping in too quickly when stocks go down, so I've been waiting for a larger drop. Right now, I'd be better of buying one a single down day...

Those are market timing “errors”. Don’t beat yourself up because you guessed wrong. When the press starts hyping the Delta variant starting in the fall you should have plenty of opportunities maybe even to warmer weather, 6 months. Of course it’s midterm time then. The wall of woe never stops. |
