This is a ready made filter available on etfdb.com. Could you, experts of ETFs, comment on any good ETFs in this list to consider for investing? etfdb.com/compare/lowest-pe-ratio/My portfolio is growth leaning until early this year, but I have been gradually reducing growth by taking profits and moving towards Value. I think this list may also have some compelling value funds. Appreciate your inputs and thoughts.

Interesting. I'm surprised to see "SPDR S&P Biotech ETF" (XBI); I wouldn't have expected this is to be a low P/E fund. (I own it.)
Some surprises here, like Germany small caps wedged in with all the Energy and EM funds.
I'm not ready to buy GlobalX MSCI Nigeria ETF yet, though.

Though most of those if not all are low P/E and P/B ETFs, I found discrepancies in those numbers when compared with M* and what I found on ETF providers Websites. I compared a few of them. Those EM Dividend ETFs I listed here big-bang-investors.proboards.com/thread/540/em-funds-small-value got my attention for their value tilt. In fact, DVYE is an all-cap value fund.

Another observation on VSS/VFSAX
Vanguard lists it as Foreign Small/Med Growth fund, but has a P/E of 10.1 and P/B of 1.0. When did growth funds start boasting such low P/E and P/B ratios :-)
However, M* is showing P/E of 14.56 and P/B of 1.48 in the Portfolio of tab of the fund. Is it because M* calculates these ratios based on next year's expected earnings. I vaguely remember reading it somewhere in the past.

Key may be methodology for fund P/E calculation.
Proper way should be to calculate proper E for the fund and then find P/E.
Average P/E may mislead as some may just ignore negative P/E in averaging.

Hindsight is 20:20. Per my other thread, if you changed when I posted (April 1st and June 24), you would be ahead YTD. Attachments:
