So far the SEC has been categorically denying all requests to start anything crypto within their jurisdiction. Wonder if they will look differently upon Fidelity due to their size and history with dealing with crypto. Should be interesting to see if they do let Fidelity be the first.

I thought there are BITCOIN ETFs currently trading in the market place.

anitya there are none trading on any US markets. The only one I'm aware of is traded on a Canadian exchange.

FYI - Sometime in the last month I read a CNBC article regarding Crypto being available at Banks in the future. Apparently Banks are seeing dollars going to Coinbase from customer accounts and are wanting to get in on the Coinbase business to keep those dollars in their Bank. Looks like the action in this field is just starting. Edit to add: Bitcoin is coming to hundreds of U.S. banks this year, says crypto custody firm NYDIGI found the link to that article
