Answering richardsok's question from the BSW thread: - richardsok: what's the difference between "Reply" and "Quick Reply?" Which is generally better to use? Thanks.
- yogibearbull: Quick Reply doesn't have fancy features and the window is already open at the bottom. Internally, operation of many plugins are tied to Quick Reply window. If you click Reply, the full menu bar opens up. If Quick Reply was turned off, you would have to click Reply to open the reply window.
richardsok: Yogi is correct. Quick reply is quick because the window is always open at the bottom (it saves you one click), but you can't use bold, italic, insert links, etc. (It does have quick tags, though.) Since there's a "Reply" button at the top and bottom of the page, and within every post (this is a plug-in I added, which is not part of the basic ProBoards package) I don't really see the need for "Quick Reply". I use it only when I know I'm going to write only a couple of words.
