Did you guys receive any information about the percentage of 2020 distribution that is ROC for PIMIX?
I found one Notice section 19(a) for March 2020 on PIMCO website and the ROC was estimated to be 1.33% for that month and nothing else.

I have owned it since last June. I received no notice for ROC for 2020.

Thanks, Chahta.
Just want to update. Vanguard tells me that more than 25% of 2020 distribution is ROC. Just wait for Form 1099 to be issued around 2/15 to see the amount of ROC - the percentage of which can be different for different shareholders depending on the months during which they held PIMIX.

Received my Vanguard 1099. Starting with April 2020 accrual, for the year 2020, ROC was approx 42% - I bought into it after March 23rd and there was no ROC noted for March. The ROC continued even after the distribution cut starting August.
P.S.: TDA 1099 is also posted to my account.

Hi Anitya, also just confirmed ROC in my Well's 1099. Currently still holding PIMIX, but looking for long term alternative. Are you considering selling? Thanks.

I already sold because of its massive AUM. I would have sold last year but I wanted to spread cap gains over two years in the hope of paying less tax. PIMIX has done alright in February so far. PIMCO's reputation hinges on this fund and so they will do whatever it takes not to let it tank.

KISS, I look at my 1099-DIV and just copy line by line to my tax program. Are you talking about non-dividend distribution ? Attachments:
