chang , A few month's back I was buying 3-6 month Treasuries. Now I am not. I have found that the rate in my MMMFs is rapidly chasing and overtaking the Treasury Rates without the lack of liquidity. That might change with the FED slowing down or stopping increases; however, so far I have not seen this occurring.

I am getting SPAXX for 4.19%. It ain't bad, either. I do not want to chase. I am just leaving there. Capital, I have decided to keep one account in my hometown, and so, I did not register for cash management in Fido. Money can come and go from the brokerage account itself. So, why bother to add more complexity.

I too considered T-bills a couple of weeks ago but backed off since the MM funds are rapidly inching the yield upwards. FZDXX and VMFXX are good choices.

Schwab at 4.63% for MM with minimum $1M investment I understand that with Ultra Shares, $1M is a minimum initial investment. What happens if you do not maintain $1M minimum?

Good question . Don’t know the answer to it . On a separate note, Municipal MM rates have shot up to 2.96% (SWOXX) . I have moved all taxable funds to SWOXX as of today. Makes effective rate at top tax bracket about 5%. I have been shifting between SNAXX and SWOXX over the last year as rates justify one over the other. All before tax funds continue with SNAXX. Think Ibwill be in MM most of this year too like last. Ready to pull the trigger quickly on HY Muni and Bond OEF at any time however.

Loving the rise in rates while sitting in MM. Vanguard Municipal MM ($3K minimum) up to 3.7% which is an effective 6.2% return at the highest federal tax bracket. Fed funds rate expected to stay at 5.5% throughout 2023 according to futures. Top taxable MM will get to 5.25%+ and stay there based on this for 2023.
All of this won't last forever for MM. However, a massive HY Muni and Taxable Bond OEF opportunity is approaching. I will be ready...

I declare victory. Let the party begin; FD1000 also invited!
Victory as in my expectations that my ownership of VGSH (2 yr treasury bond fund) and VGIT (5 yr bond treasury fund) was to earn BOTH a capital gain, and earned interest. Today I have a capital gain and earning interest, in VGSG. Today, I have a relatively large capital gain in VGIT, and earning interest as we go. Beats FD's holding 100% in money market funds. My brother very happy he followed this guidance and bot VGIT!
