I have held some PQTIX for a few months. So far, the results are encouraging for my goal to allocate some % of PV away from equities and bonds to dampen volatility.

The two managed futures funds I'm watching had a very poor November. I think they mainly got the direction of interest rates wrong, but there could be more to it. Blue = AMFAX + SCHD (50% each) Red = PQTAX + SCHD Yellow = SCHD (100%)

Norbert,...a quick post. Consider your thread title" Trend Following Quant Funds". Why not use "Trend Following Funds"?? That is, simply invest in the TOP trending funds now, regardless of sector or theme. Why limit yourself? Yes, one may want to balance their allocations with more than jsut the top fund, but within your allocation, select the top trender. Example...want to add an emerging market fund?, select the top momentum fund or ETF...due diligence of course (and perhaps no 2X or 3X funds). R48
